Apply a tablespoon of mineral oil to a soft cloth and buff using a circular motion. Whether you have a natural granite sink or composite granite sink there are easy and effective ways to clean the fixtures. Spray the solution on soap scum and or food particles. Buff the excess oil away by using the dry section of the cloth.

Before doing anything the sink should be completely emptied as well as cleaned of any debris or food scraps. You may also use another rag to wipe the sink. It s merely because of regular usage for so many years. To bring the shine and gloss this final step is going to be your savior.

A thorough cleaning with mild detergent followed by a light coat of olive or mineral oil. Use a clean soft cloth to scrub the stain. Pour a few teaspoons of mineral oil or olive oil on a small section of a clean dry cloth or rag. Get some mineral oil from your kitchen or department shop.

After cleaning it out dry it with a paper towel or dish rag. Empty clean and rinse the sink. Black or dark colored granite can develop a white haze over the surface from hard water mineral deposits. Mix equal parts water and distilled white vinegar in a spray bottle.

Rub this cloth thoroughly over the sink. Once your granite composite sink is cleaned you can restore its shine using mineral oil. Leave it about a minute to let it sit. Using a dry microfiber towel or any soft towel or cloth dry the sink thoroughly.
